From Virudhunagar to the world

Kalimark, a beacon since 1916, embarked on a luminous journey from Virudhupatti โ€” now Virudhunagar. The brand's roots deepened, and its popularity soared; the emblem transcended borders, casting a vibrant glow far beyond Tamil Nadu.

The torch was passed to the younger generation, propelling the business to new heights. In 1959, cities like Chennai, Tirunelveli and Madurai savoured the renowned Bovonto โ€” a soft beverage that laid the foundation for Kalimark's soft-drink supremacy. The journey persists today, with grandsons and great-grandsons steering Kalimark to new frontiers, and now, to new shores across Malaysia.
